Licensing Process by State

Marketplace Registration & Training

We’re excited to have you on board and look forward to working with you as you begin your journey with us. Your knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm will be valuable additions to our growing organization. To help you get started, please follow the four onboarding steps below. ​

Step 1: Licensing Instructions


If you are not yet licensed, you’ll need to complete your state insurance licensing requirements. We’ve partnered with a pre-licensing provider to offer a discounted pre-licensing course for our advisors.


Click here to register for your discounted pre-licensing course. From the Course Catalog, select PreLicense Exam Prep > Select your state > Select life and health license > Select 40 hour Life, Health and Accident Exam Prep Complete Package.

Once you have completed your pre-licensing course, select the appropriate state from the left menu to complete the state licensing process. After completing your state's licensing exam, please keep a digital copy of your license for Step 3.


Step 2: Complete Required Certifications


To sell certain insurance products, you must complete the following certifications:


Save digital copies of all certification completion documents for submission.


Step 3: Submit Onboarding Documents

Once you have completed the above forms, we kindly ask that you upload the following documents as part of your onboarding process:

  • A copy of your driver’s license

  • Copies of any state insurance licenses you currently hold

  • Your AHIP, Marketplace, and Annuity Suitability certifications (if applicable)

Once Steps 1–3 are completed and your documents are verified, you will receive an email with a link to start your official onboarding training. This training will provide you with the knowledge, tools, and resources to begin working successfully with clients.
